Derbyshire Masters Badminton

Are you over 38 and interested to find out more about Masters Badminton in Derbyshire and beyond?

Anyone over 38 is eligible to play on the Masters Circuit. You can:

•play for your county in the Masters County Championships (during October to April) and Annual Challenge (held over a weekend in January)

•compete in Masters Tournaments (Singles, Open Doubles and Mixed Doubles) locally, nationally and internationally, arranged by age groups 40+, 45+, 50+, 55+, 60+, 65+, 70+.

Derbyshire currently has a team in the over 45 age group. Teams compete as 4 men and 4 Ladies (3 Men and 3 Ladies at 65 and over) and we welcome interest from all players with a goal of increasing the number of teams over the next few years.

We play matches on Sundays approximately 6 times per season - 3 home games and 3 away games.

We hold practice sessions pre-season for anyone interested.
